Kedarnath Dham is a holy place for Hindus there are twelve jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva in India and Kedarnath Dham is one of them. Kedarnath Dham is situated at an altitude of 3580 m in Uttarakhand, this sacred place holds a lot of religious importance for Hindus in India.

Schedule Details

Day 1 DAY 01 : Haridwar -Guptkashi (220kms/8-9hr) Height: 1319 MTS. MEALS : Dinner

The morning after , drive to Guptkashi via Dev Prayag Rudraprayag. To reach Guptakashi, visit Ardh
Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi. Check into the hotel's arrival in Guptakashi. Overnight stay at Guptakashi.
 Guptakashi:- The name Gupt Kashi means "Hidden Benares. Mythology describes how when the Pandava
brothers were searching for a glimpse of Shiva, Shivji first concealed himself at Guptkashi, but later fled
from them further up the valley to Kedarnath, where the Pandavas finally got their wish fulfilled. There
are more tangible connections as well-the Kedarnath pandas (priests) live in Guptkashi during the winter
months, and after the Kedarnath temple closes for the winter, the image of Kedarnath passes througGupt
Kashi on its way to Ukhimath (across the valley), where it stays for the winter.

Day 2 Day 02 : Guptkashi – Kedarnath.(30kms by road & 19kms Trek one way) Height: 3384 MTS. MEALS : Breakfast & Dinner

The morning after breakfast drive to Gaurikund, start your trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath (by Pony /
Doli / Helicopter at your own cost). Visit Kedarnath Temple. After temple Darshan. Overnight stay at
Kedarnath.
Note: Private and commercial vehicles are not allowed in Gaurikund area, so if you are going by trek
you will have to hire local taxi from sonprayag to reaching Gaurikund (at your own cost)
Also in Kedarnath ji most of the hotels doesn’t have double/Triple Sharing room, due to lack of
accommodation stay will be provided as per, per bed and that can be accommodated in a
four/Six/Eight bed room dormitory by the hotel staff.
 Kedarnath: The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated,
against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva.
According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war felt
guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He
eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being
followed he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the surface. The remaining portions of Lord
Shiva appeared at four other places and are worshipped there as his manifestations. The arms
appeared at Tungnath, the face at Rudranath, the belly at Madmaheshwar and his locks (hair) with
the head at Kalpeshwar. Kedarnath and the four above-mentioned shrines are treated as
PanchKedar.

Day 3 Kedarnath - -Gaurikund- Guptkashi (19kms +30kms). MEALS : Breakfast & Dinner

Morning having darshan and puja and trek down to Gaurikund. From Gaurikund drive to Guptkashi. O/N
stay in Guptkashi. Kedarnath having a unpredictable climate so we will keep this day as per buffer day.
On this day you can having a darshan of Triyugi Narayan Temple(Shiv Shakti Temple) On Extra Cost. This
is the divine place where Mahadev Shiva got married with Mata Shakti O/N Stay at Guptkashi.

Day 04: Guptkashi-Via Rudraprayag, Rishikesh/Haridwar – 03 prayag which is one of Panch Prayag

Morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel & proceed to Srinagar via Pipalkoti-Rudraprayag. On
The way visit darshan of Panch Prayag & Dhari Devi Shaktipeeth.
Panchprayag : Prayag’ or confluences According to Hindu religion mythology aspect confluence of two
or more rivers where bathing before worship and prayer will clean the heart, mind and soul of a person
and inches him closer to liberation or mukti.
 Devprayag (Confluence of Alaknanada & Bhagirathi)
 Rudraprayag (Confluence of Alaknanada & Mandakini River)
 Vishnu Prayag (Confluence of Alaknanada & Dhauliganga)

 Rishikesh 'place of sages' is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and is surrounded by
Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides.It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances,
God appeared by the name of " Hrishikesh " and this area hence firth came to be known as
Rishikesh. Check-in Hotel. Later visit Rishikesh Temples & Sight Seeing – Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla.

forested hills inside the city. Apart from temples and ashrams, Rishikesh is now a popular white-
